About

Jackie and GR "Scott" Cundiff

Welcome to PastorScott.com.  I am Pastor Scott Cundiff. My wife of over 40 years, Jackie, and I have lived here in Alvin, TX since 1999. I’m the lead pastor of the Alvin, Texas Church of the Nazarene.

I wish I had a simple answer to the question, “What is PastorScott.com?”. In some unclear ways, I find myself drawn to doing ministry on the Internet. To some extent, it’s direct ministry; for instance, my pastoral ministry is extended on the Alvin Church of the Nazarene web site. You can also listen to a recent Sunday Sermon on that website. Often, I find myself in the role of facilitator. I serve as site manager of NazNet, a wonderful place for fellowship with many forums and other helpful pages for Christians on the Internet. I also designed the web site for the Alvin-Manvel Ministerial Alliance. I also write a daily devotional called: Devotional Writing from Pastor Scott. Those devotionals are archived by book of the Bible on this web site on theDevotional Writing Archives Page. I also maintain General Writing from Pastor Scott as a place for occasional thoughts and comments, Pastor Scott’s Church Tech, and Pastor Scott’s Travel and Photos.

What is PastorScott.com? It is me doing ministry on the Internet. Sometimes, I do projects for pay. Often, I do them simply because it is another way to advance the cause of my Savior, Jesus Christ. PastorScott.com is me helping Christians find their way on the Internet…or helping a friend install a new modem in their computer.
