What's Happening
A holiday that’s celebrated in no other country, is “Thanksgiving”. Thanksgiving is a national holiday set aside for the specific purpose of giving thanks to God for His abundant blessings on our nation. And indeed, He has greatly blessed us. No other country has received so much; and for that matter, no other country has given so much.
We still have our “poor”. According to Jesus, we always will. The shame is not that we still have our poor, but that we still have those who are impoverished - those who have fallen so low that they can’t help themselves. Maybe the shame is in our not helping the impoverished more.
When a person - for what ever reason - gets so far “down” that he can not get “up” without help, or even survive without help, he is much like the man who was robbed and left for dead on the road to Jericho. He couldn’t help himself. The church people passed by him, but one traveler stopped and helped. This one got the Lords attention, & got written-up in Gods book, and has been preached about for 2000 years.

KJIC Give Away |
We are giving away several copies of the new Veggie Tales DVD The Pirates Who Don't do Anything. This give away will go from 10/28/08 through 11/25/08.
Set Sail For Adventure!
A boatload of beloved Veggie Tales pals embark on a fun and fresh pirate adventure with their trademark humor and silly songs in The Pirates Who Don't Do Anything - A Veggie Tales Movie!
Larry the Cucumber, Mr. Lunt and Pa Grape find themselves on the ride of their lives when they are mysteriously whisked back to the time when pirates ruled the high seas. As they help a brave princess rescue her brother from a dastardly pirate villain, they battle evil cheese curls, giant rock monsters and their own fears and become the most unlikely heroes you've ever seen. It's a swashbuckling good time for the whole family.
Your child must be 12 years or younger to enter their name in to the drawing for this DVD.

WHO WE ARE
Community Radio, Inc is a non-profit corporation in the state of Texas since 1978. Board members are all zealous for the Lord Jesus and for this ministry. We are also recognized by the IRS as a 501 c 3 charitable organization. This makes all gifts to the ministry tax deductible.
We are licensed by the Federal Communications Commission to operate KJIC as a non-commercial FM station.
We are Christians in our religious persuasion, not separated by denominational barriers. We believe in the one God of the Holy Bible, manifest as the heavenly Father, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit. We believe in salvation from the guilt and power of sin by God's favor, through our faith, to enable us to do good works. We believe King Jesus will return to bless the saints and judge the world.
OUR PURPOSE
It's our desire to be used by God in ministry to others. We hope to bring comfort, encouragement, and spiritual strength to the church, and "light" to those in darkness. We hope to be used by Him.
We broadcast His Word by radio, print, the internet, conversation, or any other means available to us. We do this with expectation.
OUR FORMAT
We are traditional gospel music radio. Most hours we do play two programs 1 to 5 minutes in length, but you are never far from music. Our music points to Jesus and all that He has provided, and to our celebration of life in Him.
